"The creative fulfillment of working on the Challengers and TRON scores with Boys Noize led me to think that including him in the Peel It Back tour could be an interesting way to express NIN in more purely electronic terms live – a concept I’ve wanted to explore for some time. The result was so much fun for us we felt it was worth expanding and formalizing in some way. On a whim I mentioned it would be cool to play a whole set as Nine Inch Noize in the Sahara tent at Coachella.  Careful what you wish for…the next thing I knew we were designing a whole new show to present in the way it deserved. There’s no surprise tour announcement – this Saturday is it.  I’m taking Sunday off and excited to be working on new Nine Inch Nails music Monday – I’ll see you when I come up for air. We recorded this album all over the place – some of it’s live, some in studios, hotels, planes, etc.  We had a lot of fun revisiting these songs and hope you enjoy.  Listen LOUD."

“They didn’t form a band. They opened a door. 

The LSD isn’t a project you listen to. It’s a live PA that listens back. Matt Girvan and Kaine Delay wired themselves into the grid and let the grid wire back. No liner notes. No origin story. Just the hum.

CERN called it calibration. The LSD called it Tuesday. 

Somewhere between Meyrin and the 27-kilometer ring, protons collided and time slipped. Not the big bang kind. The quiet kind. A fold. A skip in the waveform. That’s where the project was born - not in a studio, but in the lag between cause and effect. The moment the space-time continuum hiccupped and coughed up a rhythm.

Listen close. The bass isn’t low end. It’s gravity dragging. The glitches aren’t errors. They’re Hawking radiation from a decision you haven’t made yet. Live PA means no safety net because the net was never real. Only the loop. Only the remix of reality that happens every time the beam fires.

The LSD doesn’t remix tracks. It remixes the interval between seconds. CERN bent the hallway. Girvan and Delay walked through and started building furniture from the echo.

You won’t find their history in a press kit. You’ll find it in your watch when it loses 3 seconds and gains a memory that isn’t yours. 

They’re still playing. The LHC is still firing. Coincidence is just physics being polite.”
