 UNCOVERING A LOST CHAPTER IN NIRVANA'S HISTORY: "VERSE CHORUS VERSE"






Scrapyard Radio is proud to present one of the most fascinating and elusive entries in Nirvana's discography: the deleted double live album "Verse Chorus Verse". This unique broadcast will offer listeners a rare glimpse into a lost chapter in the band's history.


Originally conceived as a live compilation, "Donkeyshow" was intended to showcase the band's explosive live performances. However, the project took an interesting turn when it was decided to include the entire MTV Unplugged performance, recorded on November 18, 1993, at Sony Music Studios in New York City.


The resulting double album would have presented a compelling juxtaposition of Nirvana's live intensity and their more subdued, acoustic side. Unfortunately, the project was ultimately shelved, leaving fans to pick up “Unplugged In New York” and “From The Muddy Banks of The Wishkah” separately some years later. 


Now, thanks to Scrapyard Radio, listeners will have the opportunity to experience "Verse Chorus Verse" in its original form. This special broadcast promises to be a must-listen event for Nirvana enthusiasts and music aficionados alike.
