Radiohead: Hail to the Thief (Live Recordings 2003-2009)/Japanese Cartoon: In the Jaws of the Lords of Death

*Scrapyard Radio Presents: A Sonic Double Whammy*

Get ready for a thrilling night of sound on Scrapyard Radio! This Tuesday, October 7 at 10pm central, KRFF 95.9 FM Radio Free Fargo are broadcasting a special edition of our underground radio program.

The evening kicks off with "In the Jaws of the Lords of Death", the 2010 release from Japanese Cartoon, the post-punk project led by Lupe Fiasco. This Chicago-based outfit is known for their eclectic and experimental sound, blending elements of post-punk, new wave, and electronic music. "In the Jaws of the Lords of Death" is a testament to their innovative approach, featuring a unique blend of driving rhythms, atmospheric synths, and thought-provoking lyrics.

Following Japanese Cartoon, we'll dive into the newly released Radiohead's "Hail to the Thief (Live Recordings 2003-2009)". This collection showcases the British band's ability to reimagine and reinterpret their songs in a live setting. From the haunting beauty of "2+2=5" to the driving rhythms of "Go to Sleep", these live recordings capture the intensity and energy of Radiohead's performances during this period.

And, as a bonus, we will close the evening with Thom Yorke’s epic DJ set at the infamous Boiler Room in London, dropping an  eclectic set of house, electro and hip hop.

Tune in to KRFF 95.9 FM or stream online at RadioFreeFargo.org to experience this sonic double feature. Don't miss out on this opportunity to discover new sounds and explore the depths of underground music. It's all happening this Tuesday, October 7, at 10pm central, only on Scrapyard Radio.
